From employee to entrepreneur: 5 steps to get started!

The first time I quit my job to start a venture, he was ready. He had money and a business plan. What else should I think? I quit my boss and to my surprise, fear set in immediately. I'm not leaving my job ... Time. I realized that while I prepared for the outside, I'm not prepared internally - emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually - for this life transition.

Almost nine years have passed since I quit my job and began my adventure as an entrepreneur. I have learned that entrepreneurship is a process - it is like crossing and after construction of a bridge. I've also learned that entrepreneurship is taking place "inside" an individual - not necessarily to leave a job, but to live a fulfilling life. Entrepreneurial thinking and life takes time, energy, tools and actions. Here are some ideas that have proved useful for my clients in the transition to entrepreneurial thinking and living.

You something different every day

The purpose of this exercise is simply to use your mind to new experiences at regular intervals. Part of being human is that we develop models and are comfortable with the habits. In this way, something different every day, the spirit of the changes and new experiences will be used. I have one of my customers this year as part of their "homework", a week answered later and said: "The task I thought it would be easier (do something different every day) was the most difficult." Sometimes we have to practice changing the integration into our lives. Here are some ideas to get started are: Walk your dog on the other side of the road, if ever Valet valet parking, something else for once in a restaurant, getting up half an hour. New ideas come to you if you are obliged to do new things regularly.

Evaluate your belief system

This is great for both new and experienced entrepreneurs. What are their beliefs, especially about money? Many of the clients I work with have new beliefs about money, because the old belief system no longer serves you. The best example we have a client that has a non-profit and non-profit organization.

His nonprofit organization raises money for homeless children in Brazil. In evaluating your belief system, realized that their old beliefs to hinder the flow of money, in fact, blocks the flow of money for kids who want to help to Brazil. He redesigned his system of beliefs and experiences now a greater financial success in your business and non-profit organization.

Write down your dreams

We can do what we want. After having something different every day for 10 days, new ideas begin to flow to you. Creative thinking in and out of consciousness, so make a note of when they come to you. By capturing on paper, to make room for new ideas and can then decide what to invest "dreams".

To affirm and assert and affirm ...

To assert yourself, you assert your goals and affirm their vision and dreams. Miracles happen in this way. I worked with a client who, with his work whenever there was change in management consultancy, which was a frustration similar shares in frustration. One day I asked him what he really wanted to do with his life and he said without hesitation: "I want to live and work in Italy." I asked: "Why is not there, then?" He shared the feelings, the "lock" to do what he wanted. From that moment on he was, and I will focus on creating the statements help you to achieve your goal. He went to Italy six weeks later. The statements of work.

Enjoy the process to achieve, what I want and become what they really are!
